MOT and some stupid questions.

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

Going to tackle that this week. But I have no idea how to sort that out? All the wires are cut out and it's a mess. Will take a pictures of the mess and then post it out and someone please make a baby guide on how to sort it out.

Just hope you get someone on a lax day who doesn't care too much about the fog. It's not like you have one there that doesn't work, having nothing there at all will hopefully mean it'll be overlooked? Kind of like third brake lights.

you could try booking it in on a Saturday at somewhere smaller and less mainstream - I understand the VOSA inspectors don't work Saturdays, so if you're lucky the tester may be a bit more lax. My Golf is booked in for this weekend, I'll report back on my theory once I have the result :scaredtoss:

If there was once an aftermarket fog light in place and the wiring is still there it will be a piece of body lemonade. I wired my one in less than 5 mins.

There is an aftermarket one that is there in replacement for the reverse bulb light holder. I will tackle it today. Going to see Sir_Si so he will help me.

Nitin, take your fog light, attach the earth to any point on the car (a bolt or something), go turn your foglight switch on and systematically attach the live for the fog to each of the wires that are about, until it light up, now turn off the switch and if the light goes out then you've cracked it. If you get nothing check the fuses.
