JapFest showing opening time is 09:30 and closes at 17:30. Not sure if the gates open before then but you want to leave enough time for the queues as well.

As this is your first japfest I can forgive you, but when you receive your tickets all info is included ;)

But to answer your question: gates open at 6am for clubs, I aim to get there for 7ish
