It's all becoming much of a muchness anyway man. It's an arms race where no one will ever win, the only difference in tactics is that Apple and Microsoft go after their competitors with daft patent claims and Google don't. At the end of the day, they're all pushing each other forward.
Goto a shop, play with ALL THE PHONES and buy the one you like.

I work with tech for a living and the last thing I want to have to mess around with to fix, and/or customise my phone.
I've tried Android and hated it. Hardware fragmentation and lack of consistent experience annoyed the crap out of me.
With all of it though, its whatever works best for you. That might be Symbian, Blackberry, iPhone, Android etc. No one-size fits all system really exists and it's great that we have choice imo.

I have a iPhone and I love it, would recommend them to anyone, I wont be changing any time soon. .
My brother has a HTC and he loves it but I cant stand the thing. I have a few friends with BlackBerrys and again I can not figure the thing out.
I don't think I could get fed up with a iPhone to be honest and I know loads of my friends with iPhones would agree.
