Coatings are no different from waxes. I still manage to remove them very easily when prepping cars fir respray. It's the silicone rich waxes that are bitches. Causes all kinds of paint reactions.
A hard coating won't resist crap but will help reduce it's eating if clearcoat.

But I don't gave issues with crap eating lacquer it's the amount they crap on pearl white.
Luckily the lacquer I used on my respray us thick and hard unlike thin soft Honda lacquer.

Well drokk a duck........
The whole 10meter area around my house is covered in bird crap.....its out of control.

My next door has baby stalings nesting so they cant be removed until they move on and a colony of starlings have nested in nearby trees. Im cleaning around 10 jobbies off a day and some have eaten into the clearcoat.

Going to by a car cover tomorrow.

Its ridiculous.

I come home every day or every other day to find 2 or 3 massive bird jobbies on the car. Nothing on the driveway or other car parked next to it.

No joke......

One bird bum droppings was like concrete. Nothing would remove it and when i did it had eaten a layer of clearcoat which luckily wet sanded and polished out.

But why the fook do they choose my car.....Not my white van. But be pearl they are attracted to.

I remove it immeadiately since i know what crap can do to the paint.

....waits for bum droppings car 5th Gen jokes.

Anyone else have this issue. Pearl white 5th genners?

It works, I only had to shoot a few to stop my car getting crapped on daily - now it's once a week or so..
