Hi guys, I'm holding an event in Harrow and would love it if a few preludes could make there way down to liven it up a bit!!
Event Page:
Its a general static meet with an emphasis on German and Jap.
I really don't want a carpark full of civics and e46's loool so if anyone wants to come down I'd appreciate it!!
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

The US basically controlled a lot of oil supply and Germany wouldn't tell Japan how to synthesise it. Japan wanted to crush China, the US didn't like that idea and said no more oil. Japan was left with very few options, it was low on resources and didn't want to give up on their current war. Japan needed to neutralise the US' pacific fleet to safely invade the East Indies (for oil supply). That was Pearl Harbour pretty much in a nutshell. The Allies didn't like it much, Japan jobby itself. The Third Reich and Japan were both ethnically nationalistic and buddied up. So you could argue that Hitler pretty much forced Japan to do something silly in order to make it his bitch.
So it's safe to say that a war for oil isn't a new thing
Back on topic though I guess...
