Yes, crank the heater to hot. You'll need a 10mm socket and an extension.

Run the engine till hot, stop the engine, open the bleed nipple, close it when only coolant is coming out. Once cooled, check the levels in the Rad/Expansion tank.

i thought it would be necessary to have the car running for the air bubbles to come out. on all of the videos i've seen on bleeding the coolant system the engine is always running (but they do it on the radiator cap and not on that nipple you mentioned).
ok so i'll try this and clean the iACV, let's see how it goes.

ok so i tried bleeding the coolant, but nothing changed. maybe i'm doing something wrong. i tried getting the IACV off, but apparently i can't with a ratchet, i'll have to get a spanner to undo the bolts.
when i was trying to bleed the coolant, i ran the car until the temperature gauge was at half, and the heater was blowing hot air.then i stopped the engine and opened the nipple, cooling started to come out and then it stopped. i started the engine again, waited for around one minute an then the idle keeps going up an down.i repeated this process, but nothing changes. what am i doing wrong here ?

The bleed nipple is the high point of the system, only thing higher is the top of the rad. If you can get someone to help you, open the nipple with the car cold, take the cap off the rad, and get some one to add coolant to the rad while you monitor what's coming out of the nipple. As soon as you have a steady flow of coolant, nip the nipple shut and top off the rad. That should be you.

the engine must be running mate.

if you don't run the engine whilst bleeding the system you'll get absolutely nowhere,

Sorry man, just re-read this all properly. It seems I completely missed the word "don't"

Apologies for making you waste your time, teach me to post from my phone :?
