The distinction between bun and bap (or roll) is density.
In terms of density:
Bun > bap (or roll)
This presents a new argument. Bap vs. roll.
To me a bap is a larger than normal roll. 1.5 to 2+ times larger than your average 6 pack of rolls from the supermarket. But also a roll doesn't always have to be spherical. Can be cylindrical IMO, like a sub. But then what is a sub?!

nope a roll is exactly what it says its made by rolling the dough into a ball the baps are made in pretty much one big batch and separated by cutters before bakingDonald wrote:The distinction between bun and bap (or roll) is density.
