because it would be more expensive. supose if it were just the skin, but then i still need to remove it from the chassis underneath, then re attach, it may distort with the heat of removing and rewelding though. plus i think it would look good as carbon fibre :D
its just a thin layer of carbon over the top of the sunroof panel :D

hey alex been having a look at the mugan spoilers on google, they wont be a straight forward mold for the 5th gen, not imposible, just not so simple, the mold would have to divided on multiple planes but could still achieve a 2 piece mold i would have thought, but on the upside the 4g mugan spoiler would be a breeze :D which is great for me 8-)

anyone seen, there is a 10 meter roll of carbon fibre on ebay £110, you could do a whole car with that.

i do have some rust to sort, but it would take ages  but then a good respray would cost around £1000, so it could possibly be cheaper, but what if it goes wrong AARRGGG. carbon fibre isnt uv stable either, over time it degrades the same as fibre glass

i think little feller is talking about real carbon fibre you could always put it under cover when not being used or find a uv stable resin i would love to have this done
