For that price I may just take a punt on a 5th gen trim  , the 4th one is a bit crappy anyway.

If you do report back and let us all know, the one on greenys does look the exact same as the one on my 5th

Hey guys sorry I've not been on this.. It was not showing in my feed for new threads.. Weird..
Anyway..
So we all think it's a 5th gen trim.

Well think when Hollys rust is sorted we will replace it with a 5th gen. It looks
So much better!!

So I'm guessing you just buy the the new trim and fit it to the screen? As a posed to buying a fifth gen screen?

I hope you're right about that @GreenyUK, after getting my screen replaced they used the old trim and it too is popping out at the top corners - if I can rip it out and easily replace it with a £35 rubber one from a 5th gen, I will be one happy boy!

I really hope I'm not wrong saying this but why not save money and somehow create a few hairlines and get it through insurance cost me seventy quid for new window and new trim lol. Tbh I already had cracks in window before I bought the car but instead of that silly plug seal on chips I just gave chips couple of taps and voila! New windscreen! 8-)
