prelude honour upheld/ elevated

Post by macky_6 » Tue Jun 24, 2014 11:19 pm

Was coming home from my mates the other night when I rounded a roundabout and saw an EP3 Civic Type R waiting to come out from the McDonald's.

Was busy sorting out my tunes and a few moments later it went flying past with some kind of Clio charging after it. I was too busy looking at the cars that I missed my turn off so had no option but to continue down to the next roundabout about a mile away and head back up. It was at this point I realised that this was the place where they did street races and that at the roundabout, they would turn and race back up. The 2 cars were side by side, talking to arrange the race back up, and had slowed down.

I managed to catch them just as they turned around and slotted in behind, moved to the outside lane and pinned it! Left the 2 of them standing and was pulling away as I signalled to take my cut off and left them to race for 2nd and 3rd

The Prelude is not to messed with

To be honest, the whole "race" lasted 20 seconds haha! It was on a straight, wide, empty dual carriageway in perfect conditions. We were also the only cars on the road. Not usually one for racing but sometimes you need to put a couple of upstarts in thier place ;)
