Patience is a virtue

Post by sproggy29 » Fri Jun 27, 2014 8:31 am

Now, I am off to get the rear brakes done shortly but before I go I thought I might show my scars off to class.

This is how I bought her.

Loads to do, money is an object, time is of the essence, there's plenty more fish in the sea, life goes on.......

Feel free to critique the, as yet, unfinished machine of splendour......... raining to today

from a Hyundai coupe,
Just got back from the garage, the rear discs don't fit! there is a bevelled lip on the inside and it wont fit flush!!

So now I ask you, what discs do fit my car? A 2.0 semi from 97? 4 stud- 114.3 pcd?

That's the rear bumper before I spent a fortune on colour matching paint from Halfords and bodged my way to something that resembles a normal bumper, the right corner had a mahoosive split in itn the left side had been cracked to buggery and back so the whole thing needed a sturdy bit of chafing.

Ta muchly for that. Seen these on Ebay but I thought drilled and grooved were a bit pants, dunno though I mean I had them on my previous cars I just want to stomp about being miserable for an hour and gnash my teeth just spent £60 in the gararge for nothing! I say nothing, they did wind back the pistons so I get that warm feeling that I don't have to spend on new calipers...

I've had those discs on a few Prelude's for years now with absolutely no hassle.. but some people like to go for blank discs for the OEM look.

Nice repair on your bumper, especially if you did it with rattle cans!

that flyeye that! not to bad and a cheap way of making the lights look a little less shocked, the front end reminds me of a couple of fish I had as a kid with bug eyes on the side of its head, really want some projectors, one of the first things I did when got her home was to takeout the lights and spray the insides with black paint, looked good but still a bit buggy, just bought some carbon wrap 5m x 1.5m so I might crack em open again and wrap the insides, looking to put some jaunty eyebrows on it as well like its saying 'Say whaaattt???' but I need to get some fibre glass and template those up.
