Yeah. Got mine running on this morning too. Although I have to have the idle set fairly high but the wheels don't turn when on the deck. It drives and stops. But. . For drokk sake. I have broken the pull start cord. Bloody asshole.

I think electric r/c cars are the way forward nowadays lads... faster, more reliable, cheaper etc etc

f uck off you. you'll be telling us we should drive b astard nissan leaf's next. No.

Nirto and battery are very much the same in performance but nitro takes commitment :lol:

You have to WANT to get it out and know that some swearing is going to happen :x battery is too easy.

(though having a spare battery one on standby is always a good idea :lol:

@sam: 'll pm you.

:lol: :lol: :lol: I just mean the only thing you need worry about is battery charge with an electric one. More time to race, less time fixing and fault finding..

Although you can keep your Nissan Leaf crap! :lol:

After 10 mins, battery cars have to pull in, faff about changing over the battery then out for another 10 mins.

Nitros (when running properly) will usually last around 10-15 mins on a tank, but to refill you pull in, open the tank for a quick refill with the engine still running, and off you go again for another 15 mins!

Pit stop for electric = 5 mins
Pit stop for nitro = 30 seconds

:D

Really? 5 minutes to swap a battery?? My mates leccy car has some decent LiPo batteries, they last a good 20 minutes each.. and then they're just pop-clip-done! The main problem we had with nitro's was the glow starter, when that starts to die, you're stuffed (unless you have spares)

But I will admit the noise is what makes them 8-) for me.

hmm, looking at the fields they are all pretty rough under the grass and the grass is stiff heavy stuff :( I fear anything smaller than a 1:8 truggy will struggle on it and might burn out a clutch or something. As such i am going to move the horses a bit and use some of the remaining paddock :lol: the track will be smaller but much faster and less likely to burn out diff's and engines with resistive surfaces. Its going to be about driving skill rather than out and out POWERZ which is probably better given the different sized cars coming.

I have scoped out a nice long dragstrip as well though :lol: :twisted: so we can go head to head. Also would be possible to do a ''Racewars'' style head to head. :twisted: :twisted:

So has anyone looked into superchargers for their nitro car? :twisted: :mrgreen:
