so, chewed up the rear dif. opened up the dif and was greeted by that special kind of oil that comes with metalics glitter

replaced with spare parts i happen to have had about the place  :x but I have no dif oil!!!!

So I have used teflon bike chain grease :D It is way more resistant than the original oil so the car has maybe a 40% lock on the rear all the time now :o

Great for acceleration and such but its a handful now as its always wanting to manji down the track

I thought it had too much powerzz before but now its almost comical

The track i made was woefully small for the amount of torque im putting down so i have a piece of another field all worked out. I have now put it away so i dont kill it before the meet

Not wanting to brag or anything, but thought I'd give it a test. Here's the first fire up. Last time this car was run was mid April...

:? mine has taken about 4 days work.

to be fair though it is a 1/8 and was the culmination of the melding of two chassis into one and I'd not finished the job properly

I have never had an engine be that clean on start up though. what .cc is it? small ones take less time to get going they say  :P

Yeah, it's a .15 so about the smallest they do!! As they say though, it's not the size, it's what you do with it that matters ;)

I got the truck second hand off a mate, and to be fair, I've never had trouble getting it going. The part missed out on the video which I did before it was to prime the fuel up to the engine so it was ready to go.
