I happen to think that the honeycomb grill is one of the best looking mods for the 5th gen

Prelude badge sets it off nicely

Wow, over a year since my last update

As many of you may remember, I acquired a new Lude a good few months ago, so ive been slowly returning my SiR to standard. So I thought I would update my thread to show where its at.

Interior - seats, door cards, stereo and window switch surrounds replaced

Managed to pick up a set of UKDM clocks off a mate who bought a Prelude for the engine to put in his accord, the mileage was very close to my JDM clocks once converted from kilometres to miles

the UK clocks showed just over 500 miles more. So I decided to swap them over

So after 17 years, the Lude is showing signs of rust. Passenger rear arch -

Stonechips on the bonnet

Not bad for 17 years old

However, this happened some time back, courtesy of a neighbour who wasn't watching where they were reversing

I was looking for a replacement bumper for a while after it happened, but eventually gave up and learned to live with the scars

You will probably have noticed in the pics that ive replaced my penta alloys with sawblades, and the honeycombe grill and halo headlights for standard parts. So the Lude now looks like this -

So that's pretty much where im at now, but when I get a bit of spare time I'll be returning the suspension back to standard, and also the engine bay.

So after 6 years of ownership, my lude will soon be up for sale

There has been a few more changes which I will update with pics at some point. But the spec as she stands at the moment is -:

164,000 ish miles
M2T4 LSD gearbox
ATR clutch
XTD lightened flywheel
Cobra sport 2.5" catback stainless exhaust

Price - unsure at the moment, but of anyone is interested, pm me
