My BB4 "granada black beauty" Final pics P34

Today I set about fitting a bucket seat...


All the bits I used plus a load of lock nuts and allen head bolts

how she looked at start of the day..


obviously eyed it all up first..

next I cut and drilled the unnecessary bum droppings off the rails..

welded the seat belt reciever mount back on making sure it still slides freely..

Drilled holes where holes should be, drokked around alot putting the thing in and out the car 500 times to get it somewhere near strait had some serious ball ache with the reciever trying to get it to go through the hole in the seat, failed, and decided that was enough for a Sunday..



I did manage to get the reciever somewhere near the hole in the end but its not ideal as you have to be a ginocologist to plug the thing in..

anyway this is a temporary thing to see how it feels and to be perfectly honest if you are a keen driver its well worth doing as it changes the feel of the car considerably, ive had bucket seats in a few other cars but ive never felt such a difference as this, I can feel body roll I didn't know was there before

Right, been a while since I posted this is due to buying myself another project!!!!

any how, back on subject, ive finally got around to putting my brakes on the luuude!!





its nice to be able to actually drive quickly for more than a few miles without the brakes overheating

oh also the sparco is out and standard seat is back in now as I was getting fed up of fighting with the seat belt every time I get in

I have also just got some civic mb6 vtis fan blade wheels which im guna refurb black, only thing is they seem a bit narrow think there only 6" wide, so 205 tyres may seem a bit monster truckish

also got the p1style lip to go on when the wheels do..

Took some random snaps of the lude last night and give my brakes a good test and they are brilliant!
