There are a few filtration systems that claim to not need a skimmer, but for me it was always a must.

Ive just got rid of a 240ltr salt water setup. Had it running around 9months, lost £££££ in fish and corals. I worked out i would have to spend a small fortune to get it even to minimal requirements. So i sold it all
i had been keeping tropical fish for around 10years previous. The lesson i learned is that its massively expensive, time consuming and will need day to day dedication
if you are serious nitin, then do a jobby load of research, specs, equipment, sump setups ect. And be prepared to empty ur wallet quickly. BUT, if done right, salt water/reef aquariums can look really amazing
