ATR gear knobs get unbelievably hot in the summer and unbelievably cold in the winter.

I changed mine for a PSPEC weighted powder coated one, similar design, but no hot/cold problems.

I have the EK9 weight nob and gaitor. Never had issues with it being too hot or cold altought it does get wram and cold but never to hot to rub and caress.

I put the ATR gear knob in the Civic. In the winter he wears a wooly hat to keep my hands warm....
