I didnt realise that the timing doesnt start until you clear the sensors, just knowing that should be an improvement! as the signals at the place i go are awful, and often they barely give you time to line yourself up right. Hopefully with taking my time next time round i will be able to improve things with my launches.
I think my suspension needs some work when i have the money, as it doesnt feel tight at all even with general road driving.
Im guessing you are referring to coilovers here? or is there a way to adjust the stiffness of the stock shocks?Dino wrote: 3) adjust damper settings to suit make sure suspension
5) On Fwd cars set rear dampers to full stiffness to reduce Centre of Gravity weight shift to rear of car.
Im the same, when i first went i was just there to have a bit of fun and see what i could beat. I managed to take a few cars this time.lewd lude lover wrote:The only reason I ever go for green light launch is because there is always someone next to you and i always like to imagine its a pinkslip/greenslip race![]()

I would be shy of flat shifting in a car with a normal/mildly uprated clutch and no time cut or peak retardation system or dogbox in placethats a good way to spill fluids all over the track and walk home imho.
And i dont like the idea of "power shifting" either, it just feels nasty and wrong to me!
