hey guys I need to sell my spare engine. This broken arm has killed my earnings and such things are after all just savings in different forms.

I am after any help I can get please. Any leads or ideas appreciated. I will write an advert for it but is anyone a member on any sites that it might sell well? civics etc? Will anyone post it on my behalf? I dont want to spam them all with 30 posts before i can sell etc :lol: :? and it would speed things up considerably. Anyone who gives me a positive lead that ends in sale will get 5% of the gross after delivery as thanks.

I am also after an idea of best price I can get. What are minty h22atype s engines going for?

Should I sell it as it is? Engine, gearbox, dif all in place and ready to drop into a car or should i split them up for better cash?

At the moment the only thing missing from it is the starter motor. Otherwise its as it came out of the car. I also have the ECU deck from the car.

45k (kilometers) no smoke, very smooth vtec transition and a beautiful rendition of a well kept youthful engine. gearbox was all ok but the thrust bearing was whining a 'little' bit. ATTS all good and strong.

Does anyone want it? I doubt it but I'll ask. I'm more after advice and ideas to generate the most cash for this rare item. Any help appreciated.

You will need to make a very strong bracket to go on the rear of the block in the place of the atts unit. This plate will allow you to attach the drive shaft support bearing for the left shaft. Then there is the ecu issue. Not sure what's required to get the engine running. You will need the type s ecu and loom. You will need a standard gear box or lsd one. Plus intermediate and drive shafts

well only type s owners would want the separate box and atts unit so unless you know of a type s with a dodgy atts unit I would try to sell it as a whole

Will go into a 4th gen no problem. Just need another driveshaft, different gearbox and Atts delete as sam said. Then an ecu solution.
