Trouble setting ignition timing

Took a shot of a flywheel today for this, you can just about make out the 15degs mark near the middle, which is about 6 teeth away from the TDC mark.

I can only see one mark?

The line/cross thing.
I do to see anything else or a red mark lol

Nope? I can see abit of damage in the middle at the side. And this at far left ?

These are the worst flywheels for marks I've ever seen lol

no between the mark and your arrow you should be able to see the number 15 stamped in at the 5th tooth from the mark

Count 6 teeth along to the left from TDC, you can see the number 15 and a line.

You can see how much I ha to zoom in lol I can't see 15 I can see what looks like a 10 maybe

That's the one, just find TDC in the timing hole, turn your engine using a screwdriver 6 teeth along, get some tippex and mark the groove, I think from factory they were painted, but clearly (pun) not well enough.

Right hand crank the engine till I see the cross, Inbetween the sight so to speak. Then move 6th teeth. But which way? I've read that you should only turn the crank anticlockwise as you could jump a tooth going clockwise?

Once I've paint paint a nice thick mark, I then set my gun to what I want like say 17 then move my new mark into align with the sight?
