Lude undervalued
I think its because it doesn't have a type r badge on it all the young guys over look it (myself only being 21), i was able to sit with a ep3 type r, wasn't quicker but could sit with it and i only paid just over a grand as where he more then likely paid 3/4k maybe even abit more, can't really beat that near enough same power for a lot less

I think too it's a matter of being an individual too, as there's so few about it's a bit like....oooh look theres a prelude I'll say to my Mrs. Get close she will say and have a look cos each one is always a bit different and after 20 years of being on the road it's interesting to see what sort of condition they are in.
Me I love Preludes had one when I was 22 n now I'm 32

Imagine this, you just buy a brand new Porsche Cayman for £55k of your hard earned cash. Its white and lovely and you are king of the road. You blast off traffic light one after the other and its a great sound. But on this occasion there is something behind you with a small H on the bonnet. Never mind the motorway slip road is coming up and let it rip and leave him for dust. Hang on the H is still on my bumper, okay sweep out to the 3rd lane and floor it for all its worth. Holy jobby the H is still on my bumper, okay pull over to the inside lane and let him past and see what it is. The badge on the back says PRELUDE and he will be looking that up on the internet.

Your assuming the person who wanted the cayman wants to drive fast. There are many cheaper, older cars that will say the same about the Prelude.noeyedeer wrote:Imagine this, you just buy a brand new Porsche Cayman for £55k of your hard earned cash. Its not all about that. I have repaired paint on plenty of Caymans (all owners were women) and they didnt care for speed when i asked them about the car. Its looks good and drives nicely and they like the Porsche badge, price has nothing to do with it.
