5th gen passengers airbag removal.

Asking on behalf of a mate.

Does anyone know how to do this without the SRS light being on all the time? (without removing the bulb)

Does the dash lid from the airbag come off so it can be put back in place to fill the void?

Not sure about the light

but the lid does separate from the rest of the mechanism.

Mine has the lid, but no airbag. The clifford installer thought it would be a genuis idea to fit the alarm where the airbag is, thus removing it.

You could put a resistor into the plug, so the light on the dash will still come on and go off.
