Ah wicked that's easier to understand mate thank you. Well I did off the cam loves for now but to be honest I only adjusted bout 3. They all seemed to have a good bite on the feeler so left then alone. Might re check now though usin this. :)

a good tip before you start is to get a long screwdriver (or engine stethascope) and place it on the rocker cover at each valve position, listening for ticking and noting the noisiest valves for adjustment...unfortunately once you've done the adjustment you cant do it again until the head is cold.

an easy way of determining TDC quickly when you're doing this is pop all the plugs out and gently drop a long screwdriver in and watch the height it gets to, that way you definately know the cylinder you're working on is at TDC.

Also:

1) make sure you do all the adjustments on a COLD head.
2) I do intake 0.006in & exhaust 0.008in.

as i said before, once you start the engine you can't adjust the valves again until the head is cold or it will skew your readings and can cause all sorts of heartache.

Also,

get yourself a long 10mm socket, weld a 10mm nut on the top (carefully, so that it can be turned with a spanner), drill through the middle and find a nice little flatblade screwdriver to slide through the hole....that way you can adust the clearance and tighten the locknut at the same time.

et voila...one Honda valve adjustment tool.

make sure you use angled feeler gauges for accuracy ;-)

valve clearances on the H22 can be surprisingly tricky, trying to get the drag-feel right is ackward but once you've done it a few times it's relatively easy.
