Warning (magnetic sump plugs)

The previous owner of my pulsar had used one of these sump plugs (no idea on make etc). I ripped it apart the first time I torqued it up, the thread part was hollow to allow the magnetic part to poke through into the sump.
Maybe the more expensive one are stronger but unless they are one piece I wouldn't bother with them as I doubt they would torque up well and would leave me wondering about the seal etc.
