I have a question.

The tax runs out tomorrow and I don't have the any of the documents back from the seller..

So is there anyway to tax the car?? I know I don't need a tax disc so I can just tax it and it will be in their system but how do I do it???

Help. I need it to take it to work

There is still a 2 week window (which they DO NOT promote anymore) ..if you call them and explain the situation they won't mind - providing you back-tax the car from October 1st.

I know this because I have done the same thing myself.

Just answered my own question here!

Just need to take that little bit of the V5 log book (the bit that me and old owner filled out and teared off to give to me) and take that to the Post office and just tax it. I wouldn't have to take my MOT or insurance as they will have that on their system.
