indigo has it right off the bat, go try them and get one you can use and get on with. Apple are good at making things that just turn on and work and work together, Android is getting there and I have it on my HTC explorer but I only use Torque on it, others are also good if a little less supported in the market place and windows seems to be ok but I've never used it.

My main mobile OS which I still use and still prefer my old phone with is Maemo 5, Linux based OS on my Nokia N900, it's seriously just a mobile touch/small screen friendly version of Debian and it rules for HUGE geek types like myself, well that and the fairly impressive spec of the phone even though it's getting on.

Ok so not HD but I have a tv output by 3 phono's on the supplied cable, 32gigs internal plus a micro SD card slot to take loads more gigs, Nokia's trade mark Carl Zeiss Tessar lens and a twin LED flash that is great, highly customised if you want through the huge amount of free content on it, I have a megadrive and nes emulator on it and a whole load of other free games like the tron light cycle game, can use the phone as a wifi hotspot and I have Pidgin messenger on it for all my im needs, built in browser is opera based and good, the cut down firefox is a great browser but can be a little slow at times. Media codec pack also allows me to play most file formats right off the phone and with 32gig's to fill it's brill to take a few films about with you and of course the TV output means full screen viewing. IR port too for epic universal remote times!

Can't see myself changing anytime soon, my HTC is just a toy and runs Torque which is a nifty little app, don't actually use it as a phone, more a free track gps/OBD video recorder. Maybe when the 3D is better and someone makes a phone that is more like a laptop again I'll get one and use it, until then nothing really takes my fancy. I'd like an iPad but that would again be more for viewing content at a larger size and video etc, nothing I could justify spending my money on anytime soon.

Bit of a ramble but it's my 2p and genuinely I've never wanted a phone so badly pre launch as my N900, the battery is finally starting to give up a bit after many many many charges so playing a film drains it a lot but hey ho, just need a new battery hehe

Oh and Gayno, there is no option for Maemo :p
