Love this look:




So, can I do the same to my UKDM 3G:
1. Easy to do (replace indicator + side lights to full amber corner indicators) AND add amber fog lights as side lights (so no front fogs)?

2. Parts cheap and easy to source (corner indicators + amber fogs)?

3. Legal in this country?
That is amber fog lights as side lights?

You can't change the fog lights to side lights.
That would be silly.

Just get yellow bulbs for the fogs and amber side light reflectors...job done. Just make sure the ampber side lights are the small 5w bulbs so they don't overlighten the indicators.

Have thought of that.
At night does look good.

But daytime it looks the same as it is now

get amber bulbs for your side lights and pull the dim dip fuse out from behind the coin tray your sidelights will come on without the headlamps popping up

also the fog lights will work when the sidelights are on so you can pretty much replicate that look with just pulling the dim dip fuse, also get some amber caps for your foglight lens or paint them yellow

Hence i asked about the legal side.
I think amber/yellow side lights are illegal in this country.
- unless the side lighg is part of the main cluster, like the Volvo:


But i like your suggestion on remove dim dip fuse for popups

I can buy amber film to cover the fogs

But i still prefer the single corner light unit ...

the indicators on my disco have amber side lights on them, to be fair i remember taking a 3g for an mot once with amber side light bulbs and it failed for that reason so I used to take them out for the mot after that plod never batted an eyelid either

I got ballbagged on my MOT as I had amber sidelights by themselves

I never had any trouble from the police with them though, and I used do do 70 miles a day in my lude. Although I'm sure if you found a pedantic officer they'd ticket you.
