Nice machine FWIW it started its life on the south coast, probably Bournemouth, as per the 'ru' registration. Did I notice correctly that the am / mw radio tuner is integral with the main instrument panel, despite there being a separate headunit, also. Connolly hide leather seats were presumably fitted here in the U.K?
Re: 1st Gen Glasgow
Hello, thanks for the welcome,
Yes, it has been resprayed twice in 4 years, as for the wheels, you are not the first to say that, I however think they look great!RattyMcClelland wrote:So it was resprayed twice in 4 years?
Looks really nice though.
But wheels don't suit it in my opinion.
I did indeed collect the car from Bournemouth and drove it back to Glasgow. The stereo is built into the side of the dash and the Executive that came with Connolly hide was a UK only model so could have had it fitted here, though it is shown in a JDM brochure of the time, albeit in a different colour scheme.prelude91 wrote:Nice machine FWIW it started its life on the south coast, probably Bournemouth, as per the 'ru' registration.
