Donington yesterday :D

A great mix of cars & the Crx did itself proud against a lot
of much more powerful cars especially down the Craner Curves.

My short gearing was an issue as 4th was slightly too tall going
into corners & 3rd had me hitting the limiter half way through.

There was a guy in a wheelchair with a standard h22 5th gen &
he drove the wheels off it! He used a hand control for braking
& accelerating.

Thanks guys!

Believe it or not I was getting frustrated by a lack of front end grip. My A048's are now 7 years old & pretty much bald =-O

Been prepping for the new track day season.

Main job was replacing the rad which had a small leak. Turned out it was too tall & had been forced into place so had to replace bottom mounts. Sourced some decent 2nd hand silicone hoses fo.r £15 & the alloy rad from Luke's (Tegiwa) race winning Crx .

Also 'softened' some old tyres. A friend says it works

Went for a test drive & spotted this:

Also discovered that the car is riding quite low:

Added some 'go faster' mods:
