That is 100% saveable that. Would req a 3 stage wet and dry sand (wet), clean then uv lacquer. When we do them at work with a autosmart kit, they look 10 times as bad as that before we do the last sanding stage before lacquer ;)

400, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000 all wet, cutting compound like 3m fast cut plus and a cutting pad and a polisher and ALOT of time each stage.

I time time. Hence getting myself into this mess. I am on A/L. So I already have the 400, will get the rest. I dont want to buy a polisher though... Will see if I can borrow one.
Silly question, will the polisher work on a drill?? If I get an adaptor thing?

If you are on about the 3m kit, Halfords don't sell it. Order it online, will be with you in one or two days.

When i bought mine, 3m had it on a half price promo.
