I am struggling to find a place that sells this kind of weight without knowing the common names of it.

They're called Bar weights. Confused and Asacei have already found them..

Awesome thank you!! The link Confused put up has 25kg weights which is the one I was ideally after 8-) They are the perfect size and shape to fit in the rear footwells of my 4G.
