i cant find prices for halfords :x which is annoying as there is a halfords just up the road from me, supose i will have to walk :evil:
wonder if they could put it in a non arosol can, i could use my airbrush then :)

yes i know, but i looked everywhere on the halfords site and it doest give a price for colour match, i do know it is more expensive than the off the shelf colours

I didn't have much joy with the Halfords stuff, colourmatch was crap. In the end I used uPol stuff from http://www.paints4u.co.uk which proved much closer colour wise. Pretty much the price you quoted above though.

I was having a chat with my best mate earlier about a panel for my Golf I need spraying. He's a sprayer by profession, and whilst he doesn't specialise in cars he sprays parts for them on the side pretty regularly. At any rate, his advice was steer well clear of the Halfords mixed paint, apparently their matching skills are absolute balls. Best bet is to find somewhere local that specialises in mixing car paint and mixing car paint only - much better chance of a decent match :)
