gen 5 mirror removal and refit

hi all on my new to me prelude ive got a n/s door mirror as the one on the car had been broke just if any one has any commonsense advice on removing old one no rush has ive got to paint it first but dont want to snap anything while changing it also while on forum must say i still love my prelude so its one week and going strong
