It's a joke, I was due to go to Honda as they rung and said I could now pay a deposit, that's high end money for a hot hatch.

no way it's going to be £43k...it's a civic.

it's going to be priced exactly to compete with the likes of the other hot hatches...around the £30k.

since when were hot hatches ever bloody £30k!?

it was all different back when i were a lad...

I don't think it will be that much. The guys from the factory said he thinks it will be around 35-38k!! But he couldn't confirm that .!! 43k is way much tho  :?

You simply can't have a n/a small engined car anymore and comply with eu emission regulations. Turbo charging a small engine is the only way now and is uber efficient plus its still a vtec so will still rev high and sound great but with bags of torque.

As for price. Most cars are bought on finance or leese or company hired purchase so 30k to 40k isn't too bad.

But still should be priced around 25k.

The 43k price tag was a mistaken tweet from Honda, as it was removed straight away.

I've heard from other source it will be around 23k for the standard car, or 27k for the GT pack - what extra that gies you though I don't know.

You simply can't do na and keep under 220 carbons. Plus ALL performance cars have torque. You can't have good torque on small engined na. Torque is More important than power.

After mapping my diesel engined vw t5 and supercharging my prelude. Torque makes the biggest difference.
