not sure about the dedicated glass cleaner...but the Rain-X you apply after cleaning the screen is freaking awesome.

when it rains, I like to play the wiper game....with a freshly Rain-X'd screen see how many days/weeks you can leave it before having to use the wipers.

It's funny watching peoples faces as you bomb down the road in heavy rain with no wipers on, Rain-X oh how i love you!

I use pound land's finest lemon glass cleaner for cars, it sprays on as a foam and sucks up the dirt, then you just wipe it down with a micro-fibre cloth. My windows come out crystal clear when I can be arsed to clean them. After you've done inside and out it completely kills off glare etc. plus leaves your car smelling of lemon bon bons too

While I recommend rain repellents to everyone, I wouldn't use the Rain-X brand. Typically it is very short longevity and the beading isn't actually that great.

I use Gtechniq G5 on my windows. Front screen will last around 3-4 months, side windows and wing mirrors best part of a year.

G4 better or G5?

Where cheapest to buy from?

My concern is how long does it last with wipers on all the time now its autumn?

Olive oil. It doesn't mix with water. Put it on your screen, job done.

Happy to help.

G4 is a polish, G5 is the repellent. If you don't already have polish then get both. Personally I use Autoglym glass polish but that's just because I have an abundance of the stuff!!

I get mine from elitecarcare.co.uk

As above, will last 3-4 months at this time of year. Mine doesn't last that long, but I'm doing 1,000 miles a week. Rain-X wouldn't last nearly half as long.
