I'd included the section from Trawsfynydd to just W of Bala and then headed N. I guess I should now include the Trawsfynydd to Blaenau bit?
lol!! when I reeeeeeeeally zoom in I now see a Hamlet called Halton, fair enough. that junction locally is known as Chirk Maccy's.... kinda obvious why

Its the B4391 from the A4212 to Blaenau Ffestiniog I was on about, check it out on Google streetview if need be 8-)

Open roads with no trees, like driving through moorland. Some of the locals may know it, but i reckon it was the best "driving" road in North Wales. Round Snowdonia is great fun, but you have to take it careful as roads are narrow and busy.
that's the EVO triangle, very famous but overrated imo - there's much better ones in the area, ill draw them on a map when I get a min. Snowdonia is great fun I agree, but only very early in the morning before the tourist traffic starts lol!

There a good app my mate mentioned which could be useful for this. It tracks you through gps and remembers the route so you can revisit. Go against your previous times, compare to others.

Trying to find the name of it currently...

Could be worth all the 'locals' tracking the routes then upload then to app so we can share them all.

App is called Harry's Lap Timer.
3 variations of it depending on how much feedback you want, videos, data etc. well worth a check out.
