I was about the 10th person to sign up to PreludeUK back in 2005, and immediately I saw the issues that ForumUp could cause later, if it was to grow.

I offered there and then to Mat to host the forum elsewhere, even offering to do it for free, but he didn't want to because "there would be a loss of data and people would have to reregister" - at this point there less than 20 registered users, and about a hundred posts...

Many further attempts were made over the years by others too. It's a real shame that PUK is dead, it was a great resource, and I made many friends via it (who, thankfully, are mostly all here now).

But, at least we've now got Lude Generation
