balance shaft belt removal
Is it ok just to remove the balance shaft belt and leave the shafts inside?
I'm not doing a bottom end re-build on my engine just fitting Accord Type r top end and inlet.
I know you can remove them but will do this next season

Same. Had my belt off and shafts in for a while now as the front shaft had excessive end float. It will be fine.
