Well I got a brand new primed bumper without the badge recess for my debaged grill for £147, £460 for the sportline lip . £95 or tow it.

And garage repair costs tomorrow for the rad and intercooler.

I'll update tomorrow.

I know. It's ridiculous. The gloss black grills are included and mine are fine so I can sell the new ones for around £80.

Ouch, I've nearly done this so many times. It's just a shame when it's a nice motor that's owned by someone who actually cares.

Because the pieces have shattered and deformed now. Plus it was already plastic welded because I bought it originally split in 2.

It's far far easier now to replace it.

Ps. Is "Arse ball monkey poo" one of the lines in Billy Joel's "We didn't start the fire"?

Well the damage is worse than thought on my van and the car i hit.

Got the front bumper off and the whole front impact bar is bent and needs replacing. The radiator and intercooler attach to this and are bent/snapped.

Luckily Impact bars are £167 inc vat.

Got all the parts on order and it should be repaired buy the weekend.

Now the car i hit. The guy contacted me and he thinks the electrics to the tow bar are broke, bumper has snapped on the bottom and scuffs across the whole rear. Plus a dent in the bootlid.
Im not suprised considering 2tonnes of van went into his rear.

I told him to get some insurance approved quotes so any hidden damage can be found.

So i think this will run through insurance.

Might aswell run mine too as its costing me £1200

Now @shiny

I have a motor trade policy and last time i had an incident and someone claimed off me it did not effect my premium.

Im not fussed about my business insurance.

Its my Prelude insurance i want to remain the same. My Prelude is insured with a different company and a different separate policy to my vans.

Do you expect it to be effected if i claim for my vans repairs. Last time it was only the 3rd Party that claimed on mine.
