Re: Mercutio's 5G Sir
Well i have been a bit quiet lately but i have been doing stuff mainly collecting, more on that in another post later.
I have replaced the track rods and while its made an improvement there is still something amiss and i may need inner track rods or may need balljoints replacing.
Its almost time to start on the build i have nearly everything i need the auto to manual conversion will be the first step then the engine build and tune.
The best mod i have done so far is to ditch the stretched tyres on the front they were making the front washout, so my baby is now sporting a new pair of yoko parada spec2's and the difference couldnt be any bigger.
The handling is transformed and it hangs on in the corners when it really shouldnt.
They are still not ideal because i wasnt sure of the offset of the wheels and how much i could get away with so i have only gone for 215/40/17 but they are so much better than the 205/40/17's that were on it.
They are so sticky i only get a chirp now not wheelspin i really am a happy bunny

Nothing better than grip
Good luck with the auto-manual conversion! I was dreading having to do this & my solution was to bypass the issue completely by getting a manual
I saw you were snapping up the bits you needed as they appeared on the Forums & was wondering when it was gonna be my turn, but thankfully i won't have to go through with it now, especially as i have no mechanical knowledge whatsoever
I am assuming you are carrying the conversion yourself?
