Cheers, yeah I've seen this one a few times. Looks like it's a similar colour, just a shame it's about 4 hours away from me.

How do you know which direction my front tyres are facing? I can only see the back one in my pic.

Wow! I didn't realise it had been so long since I last updated my profile!

My lude was stood in works car park for ages, I thought months but it's actually been well over a year! The main reason the lude was at work was because we had 2 other cars on the drive already and were trying to sell our house. Anyway, we sold the house in January and bought a new one shortly after, so I taxed the lude with the intention of using her as soon as we finished the move... but it turned out we couldn't move in til June!

Anyway, we eventually moved in at the end of June so it was time to finally bring the lude home - to her new home in a nice warm garage... however, my garage became a dumping ground for everything that didn't make it into the house straight away (pretty much everything from the loft & shed, plus other stuff we needed to sort through and unpack) - six months on and it is getting there but still not empty enough to get the lude in.

Considering the tax runs out at the end of the month, I figured it was about time I brought her home - garage or not. So, Wednesday night I decided to drive the lude home... I connected up the battery, popped a bit of petrol in and fired her up. Started like a dream, and it was my best drive home in a long time! :-) I forgot how fun it was to drive!

She's now parked on my drive, but will hopefully be in the garage soon enough.

I wasted about £500 last year on tax and insurance, but it was worth it cos the lude is finally home safe and sound... and that one drive was motivation enough for me to get her all fixed up and back on the road again!

Watch this space!

Glad you're back in the fold, looks like you've had a long absence, well over a year.

Indeed, it's been a while. Suppose my absence here might have something to do with having a baby son taking up most of my free time too. Saying that, I have checked in a few times and made the odd post - just haven't done owt with the car.

Anyway my son's at an age now where he's starting to get into things, so hopefully I can get him into preludes early ;-)

Glad to be back!
