Bb6 Intake pipe

Post by clarelude23 » Tue Feb 10, 2015 9:18 am

Hi guys, looking for the pipe from the throttle body to the intake chamber. Looked everywhere but no good. The part has also been discontinued by Honda :( I doubt I'm the first person to be looking for this.

My car is a 97 type s. The bb9 pipe is similar and might also do. Here's a pic and part number also. Any help appreciated ;)

Doubt anyone with a type-s or later bb8 with the h22a8 would sell it separate as it means they have an incomplete intake but its the same pipe on the bb9 and the early 5th gens with the h22a5.

Yes,the pipe is similar on my bb9(which is cracked too) but not the exact same. It will fit nonetheless.

It was me who made the replacement. I destroyed mine and replaced it withflexibe intake tubing. Only problem is you loose the pcv valve intake.
But you can still get them from Honda. £30 iirc on lings

Was thinking of that too. If I used some tubing for the intake how would the I solve the pcv problem. I was thinking of those breather filters but heard they are a bad job???

Yer don't use breather filters. It's a can of worms to some but in my mind I'd run a mile.

I was thinking the same. Where will I route my breather pipe from the rocker cover in that case?

i never made one, i bought one from ebay

but i would choose this if i were to do it again as the one i have tends to colapse with the inlet suction
