Stereo turns off when door is opened?

I was using my cigarette lighter powered tyre pump when it all stopped working. Now when I open my drivers door the stereo head unit turn off. When I close the door it switches itself back on. Anyone know what is going on?

Fuse blown somewhere and the ground is now going eksewhere?

Yeah it is probably the fuse. Just though I'd check. I'll find out where the fuse is.

I jumped out of the car to get something out the boot and the stereo turned off

All sorted now. Fuse 46 in the engine bay fuse box had blown

Weirdly its is a 15a fuse for 97-98 and 10a on 99+ 5th gens.
