well just got back from morrisons and would you adam and eve it i bumped into a welder friend of mine, he says get the sills and he will put them in for free :D just uploading pics

no, no sign of it anywhere near the sills, even if you looked in at the inside from the arch. it passed last years mot because the plastic skirts hide them.
however i could hear it while trying to remove the skirts

yeh, luckly they wont need to be too long, i did some before, its strange - if you patch the sils they have to be welded complete for the mot, but if you use new sils they can just be tacked on, how odd

these wouldnt be clothes by any chance :D i think it would be a good idea for all 4g owners to take a peek, i will keep measurements/templates for the sills. had a look on google, seems its a commn problem, people remove skirts to add a body kit and OMG :o
