To me the epitome of a ricer is slaping a square number plate in a UK rear number plate holder, Civic drivers love this as well.

To me it isnt acceptable because you just know that its only a cat back, no upgraded manifold or decat to make use of it, so all its doing is making noise. No increase in power from it.
As for the square plate in the Uk holder that has to be one of the best Barry/Ricer mods going as you are advertising the fact that you want a JDM car but dont have one, or just jumping on the bandwagon. Unless the aim is to make room for a couple of stickers. Some Civic coupe driving Barry twunt near me has two "shocker" stickers either side of his square plate (on his UK car)
. Plus the fact that almost every Barry in the land likes to put square plates on his Corsa.
Basically a Ricer is just a JDM spec Barry
