Idling
I have just resolved the same problem on my 5gen this morning. I did spark plugs change, ignition cables, distributor, distributor cap, ignition coil, IACV, injectors all tested with known good ones, i had the TB, IACV, FITV and every little hole and pipe inside and on the plenum cleaned, all this and no result. A friend mentioned a bad fuel pump, so decided to go with that, since nothing else was left to try. But before i swap the fuel pump, i changed the fuel filter and VOILA! It did the job. The old one was so clogged up, the fuel didn't wanted to leak out after i took it off.
Clamp the return fuel hose tight, after the fuel regulator, then give it a rev see and what it does. If its running good, u know what to do.
