5G service

Post by scouse boy » Sun Mar 29, 2015 5:20 pm

Hi guys,

I'm looking at doing a service to my 5g 2.2vti in the next couple of weeks and would like to know the following:

What grade oil and how many litres needed?
Sparks plugs?
What replacement lambda will I need?

I'm still relatively new to this so I do apologise if this comes across a tad stupid. Thanks in advance,

Craig

- A high quality 10w40 grade. 5w40 will also work but 10w40 seems to burn less oil from my experience. 5litres of oil is more than enough. Usually only 4.5 during a change. Hamp or OEM oil filter.
- Spark plugs - NGK Platinums PZFR6F-11
- o2 sensor is NTK 24061

It's hidden under the wool, in the crook of the near hind leg.

Good luck with it. :)

It's probably best for you to go through their parts finder.
The part may differ depending what year your car is and whether it's an auto or manual.
Check what plug type you have and the wire length.

Ratty's quite reliable though. ;)
