Hi @gb-lude. Apologies for my overall wallyness regarding 'specs'.
It's a JDM 4th Gen, BB1, H22A, Si, VTEC, 2.2 litre. It is more or less back to stock now as previously I had fitted a Skunk2 inlet manifold (which seemed to give no low end performance at all, in fact, it seemed to sap all lower end performance completely).
The Skunk2 is no longer on the car.
I also had a Greddy box piggy-backed onto my ECU which also seemed to create a few problems. One of them being poor fuel consumption as well as running very rich causing black soot and big time petrol smells from the exhaust).
The Greddy box has been disconnected and is also no longer on the car.
I have two items still left on the car which you could consider non-stock. The first is a SuperRace extractor and exhaust system and a Synergy aluminium radiator.
It's most interesting that you mention things working together because that is exactly what did NOT happen when all these things were bolted on. Adding X led to a problem with Y. When Y was investigated, then problem Z manifested itself and so on and so on. This was all happening last Summer mate and I was getting heartily sick of it. So much so that I really was at a point of getting shot of the car. However, with lots of TLC from the gang here, I got it back to what it was and, like I mentioned to Merlin, given my driving needs, it's perfect for me now and I really don't want to go through that heartache again.
The other issue is that I do not trust these so called "Tuning" specialists out here mate as I've been to four different ones now and each one has prove a right bloody shower. It's a pity I'm not in Blighty as I'm sure the gang here could have jumped on Blue Beauty and had her performing beautifully without last year's palaver.
However, if you've anything up your sleeve then of course I'm open to listen to any thoughts you may have.
Thanks for taking such an interest. ;)

Aha now it all makes sense.

First of all, just slapping bits on your engine normally never works..
What I did to my H 22 did when I lived in the UK did work but when I had it tuned it was much much better.

Universal chips and piggy boxes only increase fuel and sometimes timing , rev limits and vtec engagement.
Your engine is basicly a big pump and if you put more air in you need more fuel but also need to get rid of the exhaust gasses.
A cold air intake with a good filter, good exhaust and headers will increase power but if you want to get the most of it you will need to fine tune the fuel and ignition timing.
Small things like blocking the EGR , installing a oil catch tank and cleaning the intake will not give you massive gains but your engine will run better if its intake trajectory is clean.
Removing power steering or installing light weight pulleys will help.

If your happy with how it runs you should keep it like this and maintain it well.
Power curve is nice and it's plenty of power!
Hope you can really start loving trusting and enjoying the prelude again!

@gb-lude. Very helpful and illuminating sir, thanks so much. :)
Your last paragraph is actually written as I was praying that someone would. Yes, I am happy with it, there's no track days on the horizon, I pootle about in it to work and clients quite happily with enough (for me) vooooomph to have fun in town. Of course, for me, the real thrill is when I go to Singapore (which we're doing this coming Saturday) where I can really open it up and excite myself to the max while I scare the traffic in front of me! :o
I guess for me, it's about having a car that's rare, looks stunning, got the required vooomph and satisfies my needs as a driver. I appreciate I'm not in the league of most of you here when it comes to modifications and upgrades and stuff but I think I'm in a great place with it now and other than good preventative maintenance, I'm going to keep her the way she is. Thanks everyone, much appreciated as ever. Si. :D

I agree your lude is the fully loaded luxury model and thats a good thing 8-)
Just keep it in showroom condition as you currently do - and enjoy it.
I think with the modifications you just got too much done too quickly - if you ever want to dip your toe into the modifying pool again then i would suggest you pick up an ecu which has already been chipped - you can swap them over in 10 mins flat. ( i know others have said the same ;) )
