adjusting valve clearences

Post by Drax » Fri Jun 19, 2015 1:25 am

Was doing this on Wills lude tonight and found that cylinder 2 & 4 on the intake side, one was stuck open so much we couldn't tighten it and the other was stuck closed so much we couldn't close it :?

All the other valves adjusted fine, cylinder 1& 3 plus the exhaust side of cylinders 2 & 4 adjusted fine :?

Any ideas? Maybe timing is out? Didn't look like it had skipped a tooth. Its running like a bag of crap now :x

Well done for diagnosing the problem ..... and admitting to the cause.
