Sorry man, I'd like to help but you'll need someone with a fifth gen to answer these - the 4G didn't have this kind of immobiliser

Would the dizzy effect the green dash light though??some1 did mention this.....a little black box inside it???but would this relate to green key flashing????
No it wouldn't I do remember some one said their chip reader from around the ignition barrel went faulty recently maybe a possibility . The imboliser is a bitch and it is linked to the ecu or has its own I know its quite comprehensive as I needed a new barrel on my accord and the parts list was daft from Honda so I ghetto bodge job instead sorry I cannot be off any more help

i dont think the imobiliser can be removed, doesnt the imobiliser, ecu and ignition key all work together on the 5th gen, keeping that in mind could it be the ignition barreland or key?
you cant just plug in a new barrel though, it would still be imobilised, all three have to match
if there is a way - no one will spill the beans anyway as this would defeat the whole object of having an imobiliser, there are a fair few out there who have brought 5g ecu,s only to find they are worthless without the original key
